BWP has been... read more hassle-free and easy to work with. I really enjoyed the responsiveness of Brad and company (best of any of the companies who quoted), and are clearly very qualified. Their price point was in line with other installers, and in a couple cases offered a lower price. They always had time for my phone calls and email requests, and followed through on their promises without delay. As part of the home closing agreement, it made the best sense to pay BWP up front for the work (in December). My confidence was not misplaced as they followed through exactly as promised in early February and came in "on budget" with no cost overrun whatsoever. Short story: I can safely say that BWP & Sons are unique in the contractor world for the following reasons: - Attention to detail: seldom have I seen contractors... read more that focus on the "last 10%". That is, many will do a great job and then sort of fizzle out towards the end, either getting angsty to finish the job and making mistakes, or outright not doing cleanup tasks like finishing touches, trash removal, etc. Brad left the excavation site better than it was before. Unbelievable attention to detail. - Timing: Brad worked hard on Saturday, and came back Sunday to finish the job. He texted often, let me know when he was planning on coming/leaving. - Value: we all want cheap, fast, high quality work but as the saying goes, you can only ever choose two. With BWP, it's the perfect mix of all three. Quality of the work ranks highest, they're also fast, and definitely appropriately priced. Full story: It's always been hard to find good companies and contractors to do quality work, and recently with the pandemic just finding a company not busy for the next three months seems like an impossible task. We were in need for a new water line and sewage line installed in our garage and after getting a ridiculous quote from a plumber, I had the pleasure of reaching out to Brad. He not only came with experience that made it much more reasonable for him to give me an accurate estimate of the job cost, he was also extremely responsive and accommodating. He did what few contractors would do and actually tried finding good alternatives to obstacles that benefited the house and not just made the job get done quicker. For example, rather than dismantling the wooden deck and having to get a carpenter to put it back together, Brad hand shoveled under the stairs to access the foundation...4 feet underground! I'm honestly waiting for me to have enough money for another project with BWP. I'm starting to think that the best way to do house projects is not to find something that needs done in the house and then searching for a company/contractor to do the work, but rather find good contractors first and then adapt the project to their skills.
